Dakar will host the 7th edition of the International Mining Exhibition (SIM) from October 3 to 5 at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center in Diamniadio. Under the high patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Senegal, the largest mining event in West Africa brings together industry players to discuss the theme: “Geosciences and responsible mining: challenges and opportunities for economic and social development”.
Grande Côte Opérations (GCO), a mining project of the PSE (Emerging Senegal Plan), will participate as a Gold Sponsor. For three days, GCO’s employees will discuss, exhibit and share the company’s approach to the entire value chain with visitors and professionals at the stand and during panel discussions. Safety, CSR, land restoration, operational excellence: these are all themes on which GCO is positioned to be an exemplary and responsible global player in the valorization of mineral sands.
This is also a great opportunity to recall how GCO is contributing to the growth and expansion of the Senegalese mining sector, under the most demanding international standards.
