Scope & Main Purpose of the position
Under the authority of the Application Center Superintendent, the Information Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
- Analyze and understand business needs (automation, evolution) to propose appropriate application solutions
- Design and develop IT applications based on requests made by the business lines as well as structuring projects at the Group level
- Perform tests to verify the proper functioning of application solutions and make corrections, if necessary
Major Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and activities for the position are, but not limited to:
Technical translation of functional needs
- Participate in the detailed functional analysis of user needs
- Study the technical opportunities and feasibility of application solutions
- Develop and write the technical specifications, from the functional specifications
Conception and development
- Design a software architecture with the application manager, propose the project framework, consisting of design patterns and libraries
- Analyze and develop components using appropriate languages (c++, c, java, c#…)
- Ensure the development and implementation of applications
- Adapt and configure the software packages selected for the software architecture
- Participate in the structuring of databases
- Harmonize and automate all components and applications
- Document applications for further development and release.
Tests and recipe
- Define test protocols and scenarios (unit tests and load tests)
- Test, identify and deal with any malfunctions of the developed applications
- Analyze the results and write the test report
- Check the compliance of application solutions with the requests made by the business lines
Release, integration and evolution
- Integrate application solutions in accordance with our IT policies and procedures
- Test application solutions in their final versions
- Fix bugs and security incidents
- Ensure the evolution of the global application environment

Required Profile
The candidate must have a Bac +4 (Master / Software Engineering) in IT Development:
- Excellent knowledge in the development and management of IT projects
- Good command of C#, C++, Python, Java, Javascript, PHP
- Good knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL and Microsoft Power Apps
- Good knowledge and mastery of at least one project management method (PRINCE2, AGILE, LEAN MANAGEMENT, PERT) and project management tools.
- Knowledge of information systems security (ISO 27001).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, to listen and understand needs.
- Rigor, sense of organization and autonomy.

- Bilingual (English – French)
